Junho Jang Ph.D., MPH is currently the Director of Medical Technology Listing Division, Benefits Listing Department in Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA), South Korea. He is managing the team for reviewing the benefit coverage of new medical technologies and leading the working group to plan a new payment program for converging technologies between health and the digital field from 2020. 

After beginning his career as a hospital pharmacist in 2003, he joined HIRA in 2005 and has over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical benefit management area, including economic evaluation, operation of managed entry schemes, reimbursement and pricing of new pharmaceuticals, and pricing of generics.

He is also serving as one of the bureau members of the OECD Expert Group on Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices from 2022.
