Mark has been with Zimmer Biomet since 2018. He is currently leading the AMDD Strategy Management Office and the ACCJ Healthcare committee as co-chair.

In his industry association role, he is leading activities to improve quality and efficiency of healthcare services provided in Japan by leveraging digital technologies, which are critical to sustain the universal health coverage system and to make Japan as a destination of healthcare innovation. Example of activities he’s working on are:
 

• Development of a data platform for smart logistics of medical devices and pharmaceuticals under the Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP), a program sponsored by Japan’s Cabinet Office
• Addressing issues associated with security, privacy, and data that are upholding utilization of digital technologies in healthcare sector.

Mark is also a Adj. Professor of Uni. Hyogo where he established a program to develop globally capable leaders and teaching at other universities to develop future leaders.

Mark graduated from University of Toronto (M. Eng) and is currently living in Japan.
