Shweta Bhardwaj is Director, Global Digital and R&D Policy at Johnson & Johnson and leads the development and implementation of a cross-enterprise, coordinated, and strategic global approach to priority R&D and digital policy issues across all regions, including data science policy, cybersecurity, interoperability, and government regulation of new technologies. 

Shweta has spoken at various thought leadership forums, and published articles on impact financing, health systems resilience, and digital health at the World Economic Forum (WEF), Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) and peer reviewed journals. She was recognized for outstanding leadership to Global Health by Stanford University, during the Women Leaders in Global Health Conference, 2017.

She has also been actively involved in influencing health policy discourse externally through member trade associations, and is the Chairperson of Digital Health, Centre-of-Excellence at APACMed. 

Shweta has MBA from Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), Anand and MSc in Global Health and Public Policy, from the University of Edinburgh (as a Commonwealth Scholar).
