Slobodan Radumilo serves as SVP, President International for embecta. Slobodan is also Chair to the Diabetes Sector Group at Med-tech Europe. 

Previously, Slobodan spent 5 years with BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) as Vice President and General Manager for Diabetes Care in EMEA. Prior to BD, Slobodan worked at Medtronic between 1997 and 2016, holding roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as Vice-President of Neuromodulation for Europe and Canada, Regional Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and Regional Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, Greece and Israel. In his regional roles Slobodan managed all of Medtronic operations in more than 25 countries of the World with population of half a billion. Slobodan has been member of the Officer Group of Medtronic Inc. since 2011.  

Slobodan’s experience has been characterised by his ability to work with governments around the world to improve awareness, access, and affordability of healthcare. To this point, he has successfully negotiated number of Public Private Partnership Programs to build, equip and manage cath-lab operating rooms, localise manufacturing and organise technology transfers, or educate physicians. Throughout his career, Slobodan has always sought to bring innovation to the centre of his business activities. Slobodan constantly seeks leading edge technological advances and revolutionary innovative business models to improve healthcare. Slobodan’s true passion, however, lies in acquiring, developing, and retaining outstanding talent and forming winning teams.

Slobodan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Diploma in Management from the University of Zagreb (Croatia), as well as Diploma in Leadership from the Glasgow Caledonian University.  

Today, Slobodan lives in Vufflens-le-Chateau, Switzerland with his wife and 3 children.
